3 God’s Guidance Tips For Extraordinary Results

Without good guidance, many take steps they later regret. Conversely, with God’s guidance, undoubtedly the best guidance you can get, you will not make any mistakes in life. This article will look at God’s guidance and how to obtain it.

Scriptural Reference

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. (Psalm 32:8 NKJV)

Exposition of the Scripture

In the verse, God promises to instruct and teach us how to go and to guide us with His eye. Since instructing and teaching mean guidance, the verse implies that God promises to guide us in the right direction. In other words, God wants to guide us to make the right decisions in life.

This promise of God’s guidance implies that God is deeply invested in each of us and willing to guide us in making the right decisions in life. This promise should fill you with hope and optimism, knowing that God is always there to guide you.

Further, the passage says God will guide us on how we should go, not how we love to go. Put differently, the direction God may lead you to may differ from what you like.

How To Obtain God’s Guidance

  1. The first step in obtaining God’s guidance is always to remember that the promise of God’s guidance is scriptural. So, all you need to do before appropriating the scripture to yourself is to believe it. If you genuinely believe the scripture, you will automatically have God’s guidance in everything you do.
  2. God promises to guide us with His eye. This metaphorical expression means that God’s guidance is always present, just as our eyes always watch and guide us. However, for God to successfully guide you with His eye, you must continuously fix your gaze on Him. Anyone who doesn’t set their gaze on God may miss His guidance as He uses His eye for guidance.
  3. Since God is omniscient and knows everything (1 John 3:20), you must exercise faith and allow Him to guide you, even when the guidance seems unsatisfactory. Remember, God knows the end before the beginning and will always provide you with the most appropriate direction, even when it doesn’t seem so.
