Receiving Heart Desires: Unlocking The Kingdom’s Secret

One significant means of getting your desires in Christianity is conforming to God’s principles. God respects His Word even above His name (Psalm 138:2). No matter how far-fetched a person’s desires are, they will have them if they conform to the proper principles. Conversely, anyone who doesn’t conform to the correct principles may not receive their desires, irrespective of how nice they may be. Today’s scripture contains the Kingdom principle of receiving our heart’s desire.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Mark 11:23 KJV)
In the passage, Jesus reveals that if we speak to a mountain, “Be thou removed and be
cast into the sea,” it will obey us. He says we shall have whatever we speak if we don’t doubt but believe what we say shall come to pass. Let’s examine the verse for a deeper understanding.
Understanding How to Receive Your Desires
- A mountain means a sizeable hill but also symbolises a significant obstacle or challenge in our lives. It could be a health issue, a financial struggle, a broken relationship, a delayed marriage, or any other difficulty that seems impossible.
- The principle in the verse is the solution to anything that stands as an obstacle or challenge in our lives.
- The verse implies that physical mountains or challenges can hear and obey our command.
- The first condition we must meet before successfully removing any “mountain” is to know that asking God to remove “mountains” from our lives is wrong. Instead, it’s our responsibility to command them to be removed.
- Another condition we must meet before successfully removing “mountains” from our lives is to ensure we do not doubt in our hearts.
- Finally, if we believe what we say will come to pass, we will have whatever we say.
What do you consider a “mountain” in your life? Is it a persistent health issue, a challenging work situation, a complicated relationship, a delayed marriage, or a financial struggle? No matter what that “mountain” is, you can command it to move from everything that concerns you. Don’t doubt, but believe what you say will happen, and you will have whatever you say.
